Ps4 wont download game due to storage

 · So I have around 80gb of free space left and my PS4 refuses to download anything, games or updates. So when a multiplayer GAAS game gets updates these days the download mostly takes 30 seconds, while the copying needs minutes. This was after I'd moved The Sims 4 over from my external hard drive to the SSD, so perhaps that caused some confusion for the console (although it's hard to see why it would).. However many times the console tried to download the update, the message "can't download or copy" continued to appear. Check you have enough storage space for your game. To find the required space for the game, go to your Game Library, select the game (more) View Product. You need at least 50 GB of free space, wether it's a 40gb or 1gb game, it won't let you download it unless you have at least 50 gb free.
