Ps4 wont download game due to storage

So when a multiplayer GAAS game gets updates these days the download mostly takes 30 seconds, while the copying needs minutes. However many times the console tried to download the update, the message "can't download or copy" continued to appear. There's loads of storage space on my PS4 and in the Minecraft game itself but I'm just stuck. It won't let me download anything else now, it's like there's a glitch/bug. I've been in touch with the PlayStation people and their suggestions have not helped (restore licenses etc.) and directed here for advice after advice to delete more templates.

Check you have enough storage space for your game. To find the required space for the game, go to your Game Library, select the game (more) View Product. You need at least 50 GB of free space, wether it's a 40gb or 1gb game, it won't let you download it unless you have at least 50 gb free.
