Text messages wont download unless app open

The app drawer gives you quick access to apps that you can use in your messages. To see your app drawer: Open Messages. Tap the Compose button to start a new message. Or go to an existing conversation. Swipe left or right over the app drawer to find the app that you want to use. Tap Settings Apps Notifications See all apps. Tap the Messaging app, then tap Storage. Basically you can remove PowerGenie without root using ADB: adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 bltadwin.ruenie adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 bltadwin.ru After I removed those packages I receive notifications % of the time for all my apps, just how it should be (and with no impact to battery life that I can see). Can receive but can’t open some text messages from an iphone. Says to Download the message but download always fails. I just change my setting from Wifi to Data and then try again. Message downloads.
